Is Lime an insurance company?

No, but our policies are underwritten by giants of the insurance industry: Aviva and Lloyds of London so you can be assured should you need to make a claim.

Who are Lime?

You may not have heard about us, but we’re different. We launched in 2019 and our small, but fast-growing UK-based team are dedicated to making Lime the most customer-focused alternative for your health care needs. We’ve designed Lime from the ground up, to make buying cover as simple and affordable as we can and we’ve even made claiming easy too!

Why is Lime cheaper than other companies?

It’s simple ...we’re a 100% online business with no call centre, enabling us to save a lot of money which we pass back to you through our low prices.

How secure is your site and will my details be safe?

When we designed Lime, at the forefront of everything was you, our customer and the drive for the privacy and protection of your personal data. As an online business we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) but its more than that. What can I actually do with my online account?

We’ve made things really easy to access from your customer account. You can manage your personal data, review your policy records and most important of all, access our quick and simple claims process.

Can I just get a quote?

We understand, you want to get a feel for how much its going to cost before you buy. Don’t worry, its simple and easy and you can get a quote in seconds – no sales calls and no hassle.

How can I contact you if you are an online company?

We've designed a system that allows you to receive tailored guidance, buy a policy, and then manage your details entirely online. You should find all of this straightforward – and we think you'll enjoy the advantages – but if you get stuck, then we're only an email away from providing you with great support via our Contact page. We're able to offer you great, personalised policies at a fair price because we save on expensive things, like big offices and call centres, and then pass those savings on to you.

What happens if I have a complaint?

We want to deliver the best possible service we can, but understand that things can go wrong sometime. All you need to do is get in touch using our dedicated Making a Complaint page and let us know what you’re unhappy about and we will do our very best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
